30 paintings 30 days - Linda Popple

Linda Popple
6 x 6
Oil on Raymar Panel

My 30 painting in 30 days enters day four with Linda Popple.  Linda is one of the most kind, generous, loving people I have ever met.  I mean, for a queen.  Most of the other queens I have met have been distant or aloof...not so with LInda.  She treats her subjects well and hardly ever acts like she is better than they are.  To protect her anonymity and keep the paparazzi at bay I am only including a partial of her face in this series.

Thank you again Leslie Saeta for hosting this challenge.  All the challenge participants are posting their paintings on Leslie's blog...a great place to visit!

  1. Funny pose ... You can tell she has a fun personality. Another winner.

  2. I love this one and especially because it's only half the face. That makes it even more intriguing. Nice. Lou

  3. Love my portrait, Maria!! And you are so sweet to try and keep the media away, but alas, it is impossible. They are outside the window with their cameras doing their best to get a good shot of me. I'll send them to your blog where they can see me in my crown and catch up with other fine artists (although they are not of royalty!).
