Dance Like No One is Watching!

I love the free spirit of children dancing and playing without a care in the world.  They don't care who is watching.  I enjoyed painting this dress and trying to make the skirt look full and flouncy.  This is the second in a series of tiny ballerinas I am doing. 12 x 12 Oil on board.  $100.

  2. This is so sweet, Maria! My granddaughters have played and danced in their tutus with us as their audience. It's such fun to watch them twirl with abandon! Good job in capturing this exuberance!

  4. Love the title and the painting. You captured a sweet pose and just the right flounciness in the skirt. Wonderful lights and darks. Particularly like her hair and face too! Beautiful.
